Description:  In years of cooking, I never made lasagna. So, I decided to rectify the situation and found this interesting recipe.

Cheese Sauce Directions:
1 Make Cheese Sauce: Shred . In a large mixing bowl, combine ,,, and 1 cup of . Mix well.
Meat Marinara Directions:
1 Dice , mince , slice .
2 Preheat oven to 375°. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Do not use double pot to ensure all the noodles cook properly. Add salt and 9 . Cook 2 minutes less than al dente, according to package instructions.
3 Heat a deep pan over medium high heat. Add , ,. Sauté, breaking up the meat, for 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Add and sauté another minute until fragrant.
4 Add to meat mixture and stir for 2 minutes or until wine is nearly evaporated.
5 Add ,,,,,. Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook 5 minutes.
6 Spread 1/2 cup meat sauce in the bottom of a deep 9×13 casserole dish. Add 3 , spread on 1/3 of the remaining meat sauce, and sprinkle with 1 cup . Spoon on and spread the top with 1/2 of cheese sauce.
7 Repeat: Add 3 noodles, 1/3 meat sauce, 1 cup , remaining 1/2 cheese sauce.
8 For top layer, add 3 noodles, remaining 1/3 meat sauce, remaining 1 cup .
9 Poke 9-12 toothpicks over the surface of your lasagna (to keep the foil from sticking to the cheese). Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
10 Remove foil and broil for 3 to 5 minutes, or until cheese turns golden. Let lasagna rest 30 min before slicing.

Tonight, I was more careful about properly layering each step. I don’t know if it affected the taste, but it was more presentable.

The meal was excellent but I messed up some of the layering, so it was not photo worthy. I will try again.
