Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast (SOS) | ||
Description: | Growing up I often had Chipped Beef or Chicken ala King over toast for lunch. Though SOS gets a bad rap, I developed a lifelong taste for it. The growing up lunches were from cooking bags but this is the real thing, made from scratch. It’s an easy recipe. |

2 | Tear into small pieces. | ||
3 | Melt in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add and whisk until smooth. Add , a little at a time, whisking well after each addition. | ||
4 | Make toast at a medium heat. | ||
5 | Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook, stirring, until thickened. Stir in and ; cook until warmed through. | ||
6 | Pour mixture over toast and enjoy. |
